Chaz Antoine is an emerging public scholar and PhD graduate of VCU’s Media, Art, and Text (MATX) program. In 2016 he received a Master’s in Nonprofit Studies, focusing on youth programs and public arts, from the University of Richmond. An alum of the Bonner Scholars program, Chaz leads the Blackademic programming at Six Points Innovation Center (6PIC) and is active with local arts and inclusion organizations in Richmond. Chaz Antoine's scholarly practice brings together Black feminist auto-ethnography, Black pop culture and performance studies, and Black queer world-making.
